The house
People.
Authors, researchers, subject advisers and reviewers are different roles. One person may hold more than one. None of those roles is assumed from another.
On the list
Matt Black
Matt Black is an entrepreneur, independent researcher and author whose work examines decision-making under uncertainty, AI, entrepreneurship and practical change.
Subject advisers
A subject adviser helps improve a question, points at evidence and blind spots, and may suggest researchers or reviewers. The first request to someone who accepts is specific: what is one important question in your field that is not being answered well enough?
Affiliation as a Candour House Subject Adviser does not imply endorsement of Candour House, its publications or the views of other advisers.
A subject adviser is not automatically a reviewer.
No subject advisers, fellows or independent reviewers are listed yet.
Reviewers
An independent reviewer tests a defined piece of work. Reading a manuscript, advising on a question, or funding the work does not make someone a reviewer. The house does not describe that reading as peer review unless a documented process justifies the term.
The published standard is the Candour Review Standard.
