Rights & Trade
Rights, permissions and trade.
Candour House Press is an independent house. Rights are handled directly, and enquiries are answered by a person rather than a form.
Translation & territory rights
Translation, audio, serial and territory rights for titles on the list are available for discussion. We retain world rights unless a title’s catalogue entry states otherwise.
Please include the title, the territory or language, the format you are enquiring about and your publishing house.

Booksellers & libraries
Trade orders for print editions are fulfilled through Amazon’s distribution rather than a direct wholesale account. Each book page lists the ISBN for every edition, which is the reference to use when ordering.
For reading copies, event enquiries or catalogue information, write to the house directly.

Press & review copies
Review copies are available to journalists, critics, broadcasters and booksellers ahead of publication. Please tell us the outlet and the intended coverage.

Permissions
Requests to quote at length, reproduce an extract, or use house material in teaching or anthologies should be sent in writing with the passage, the intended use and the publication details.
Short quotation for review or criticism does not require our permission.
Submissions
Not currently open.
Candour House Press is not accepting unsolicited manuscripts or proposals. We would rather say so plainly than run a submissions inbox we cannot answer properly.
When a submissions policy exists — with a real reading process behind it — it will be published here.
