Corrections and retractions
A material factual error should be corrected in public, in proportion to the error.
The response may be a small correction, a version note, a substantial correction, an expression of concern, or withdrawal of the work.
The house would consider withdrawal where evidence was fabricated, where the work was materially plagiarised, where an undisclosed conflict makes the work unreliable, where publication breaks a legal or privacy duty, or where a major error undermines the central conclusion.
No correction or retraction has been issued, because the house has not yet had cause to issue one. Silence is not a claim that every sentence on the list has been formally audited.
